No Injuries in Office Fire at Marcus Cinema

Sturtevant police and South Shore Fire were called shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday to the Marcus Cinema for a report of a fire in the office.

When SVPD arrived, the fire was already extinguished, but firefighters told officers that the manager discovered the fire when he reported for work.

A cause has not yet been determined, but Sturtevant Police Chief Sean Marschke told Patch that the "probably cause was an electrical fixture."

There were no injuries reported.
