Racine Area Patch Readers Share Their Fathers' Words Of Advice

RACINE, WI — Ahead of Father's Day 2022 on Sunday, Patch readers from around Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant and Caledonia shared the best piece of advice they've received from their dads.

Patch asked, "Father's Day is coming up and we want to know: What's the best advice your dad ever gave you?"

"Better to be 10 minutes late in this world than 10 years too early in the next," one reader in the Mount Pleasant area said.

Another reader in Caledonia said, "You can’t soar like an Eagle when you’re surrounded by turkeys."

"If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging," a Caledonia reader said.
