After more than two hours, Miller eventually came outside - just as authorities were considering entering the home.

The day before, police say Miller got into an argument with his girlfriend. Police said the argument started when Miller accused the woman of putting water into the gas tank of his motorcycle.

According to police, Miller poured gasoline on the woman's head. She called 911, and officers responded right away. First-arriving officers removed the woman and her two children from the home for their safety.

Police say officers reached Miller by phone. According to police, he told officers he was in the area, but would not meet with them.

Officers were present at Hadfield school for safe end of the day release that day. As officers cleared the scene that afternoon, they said the incident was isolated to the house on Beechwood and there was no threat to the school or nearby community.

Miller has been arrested, and charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court with battery, intimidating a victim, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and negligent handling of a burning material.

Several of the charges against Miller carry a domestic abuse modifier, which may lead to additional incarceration time in the event he is found guilty and convicted.
