Racine Man Arrested in Drug Bust after SWAT Team Raids House

Police found crack cocaine, pills, marijuana, ecstasy, and a loaded gun

RACINE - A Racine man was arrested Friday after the Racine County Metro Drug Unit, the Racine County Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. and a RASO K-9 officer executed a search warrant around 6:25 a.m. at a home in the 1800 block of Clayton Ave.

Police received a tip that the suspect, 36-year-old Jarvis D. Booker, was involved in the sale of cocaine. Booker was recently released from prison for cocaine delivery charges and is currently on probation for the same offense.

During a search, officers found 117.9 grams of crack cocaine, various pills, ecstasy, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a loaded handgun, ammunition, cell phones, and cash. Three young children were living in the residence and police called the Racine County Human Services Department, who responded under the drug endangered children protocol.

Booker is being held in the Racine County Jail for the following charges: possession of cocaine with intent to deliver; repeat drug offender; keeper of a drug place; possession of a firearm by felon; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Booker also was charged with second degree recklessly endangering safety since there were children in the residence and was charged with violating on state probation.
