Stabbing Suspect Jumped From House, Hid In Field: Report
Police say a 20-year-old Mount Pleasant man has been arrested and charged with stabbing a man inside his own home early Friday.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI - A 20-year-old Mount Pleasant man has been arrested and charged after police say he's the man responsible for stabbing a 39-year-old man.
Mount Pleasant police say Anthony M. Brown was arrested on suspicion of substantial battery, burglary, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.
Police say they were called out to a home on the 1700 block of the Northeast Frontage Road at just after 3:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20 on a report of a stabbing.

According to police, a person called police saying that a sibling of his was stabbed by an unknown person - later determined to be Brown.
Police say they initially couldn't get anyone to answer the door at the home, until they saw Brown emerge on the house's roof. Police say he wasn't cooperating with officers, who ordered him down.

At the same time, authorities say the 39-year-old stabbing victim came out of the house. He was immediately attended to by rescue personnel and transported to the Ascension emergency room with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Police said Brown then jumped from a second-story window and was found hiding in a field north of the house. He was then arrested, police said.
According to online court records, Brown had a warrant out for his arrested for an apparent probation violation.
