Not pulling over right away, the woman drove into a parking lot and continued driving slowly before she came to a stop in the 4500 block of Highway 31, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.
The woman told the police “she bumped a van backing up” and “did not stop to leave information on the vehicle.” The officer found three open beer cans in the car. She was turned over to the Mount Pleasant Police Department for their investigation.
