Turnout in the Villages Steady on Election Day

Voter traffic was reported as steady throughout the day for the Spring election.

Poll officials in both villages were reporting steady traffic throughout the day Tuesday.

Mount Pleasant Village Clerk/Treasurer Veronica Rudychev said she thought the village would probably exceed the 20 percent predicted statewide.

In Sturtevant, Village Clerk/Interim Administrator Mary Cole thinks residents will turnout at about 25 percent.
