Wisconsin National Guard Stays On In Racine County Amid Pandemic
Racine County looks for options for drive-thru community COVID-19 testing
RACINE COUNTY, WI—While the most recent schedule of Wisconsin National Guard drive-thru COVID testing has expired, the Guard is expected to maintain a presence in Racine County for testing, and both the Central Racine County and City of Racine Health Departments are working through details, according to a media release from the County.
"The onset of winter weather brings new logistical challenges for drive-thru testing, particularly with finding locations for testing that meet the new State requirements to ensure the safety and welfare of the National Guard," the media alert explained.
More information is anticipated to be released soon.
