A New Chapter for Muskego Public Library
Library board names new director, who served as director in St. Francis.

Pete Loeffel has been named as the 's new director. He succeeds Jane Genzel, who resigned from the post to resume her duties in reference.
Loeffel previously served as director of the St. Francis Public Library, and also held a post in Shorewood as their library's tech manager. He brings almost 20 years of library experience, and was chosen from a field of 14 candidates.
Library Board president Josephine DeVito-Scalzo told Muskego NOW that Loeffel has demonstrated leadership, has a strong personnel management style and is skilled in working with people.

The library's outreach programs will be a focus for Loeffel, with the board asking for a review of types, quality and quantity of programs, DeVito-Scalzo said.
"St. Francis has a very nice library for a community of this size," he told Muskego NOW, but he noted that St. Francis is only about 9,300 people compared with more than 23,000 in Muskego.
