A Worthy Reminder for Worthy Veterans' Events
While Nov. 11 is Veterans' Day, Muskego ceremonies will mark the event a little early.

These may be simply items on the calendar, and a brief mention in an earlier article, but it bears repeating and reminding, especially as the weekend can grab our attention all too easily.
Veteran's Day ceremonies will be conducted by the Muskego Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8171 at the on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10am. Along with a remembrance for all POWs and MIAs, there is a roll call done to honor those veterans still here. It is well worth anyone's time to spend 45 minutes with this group, and to meet history with a handshake and a word of thanks.
On Monday, Nov. 7 at , the Muskego American Legion Post 356 will also conduct ceremonies at 10am. This too is a great opportunity to say hello and say thanks as they honor all veterans living and deceased.

I hope the respective venues have difficulty in seating everyone who attends as sadly the history of these events has been that attendance is limited to veterans, their families and the residents of the senior facilities.
