AFS Serves Up Desserts With an International Flavor
International Dessert Night was a display of the many flavors of the world, and was aimed to tempt families into trying a taste of culture abroad
Desserts were on the menu, and they came from far and wide at the AFS (American Field Service) International Dessert Night at Muskego High School Thursday evening.
However, amid the sweets on the table was a message of encouragement for families who are considering hosting a student, or perhaps allowing their child to venture around the world to study in a foreign country themself.
Fernanda Balthazor, who was once an AFS student herself, explained the possibilities amidst the pastries, which came from Italy, Germany, Greece, Mexico and many other countries.
