Churches Join Together at Jammin' on Janesville

Jammin’ on Janesville, 2012 will feature several area churches at Bethel Lutheran on Janesville Road at each event on the first Fridays: June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd; 5-9 p.m.

One of those participating is Heritage Presbyterian, as a Chamber member. We will be part of “The Group at Bethel Lutheran,” the focus of which will be family oriented activities.

The “group” will be a sponsor, along with North Shore Bank, for the Muskego Performing Arts Council, one of three non-profit groups being showcased at Jammin’ this year. MPAC is the presenter for Muskego Teen Idol and will be holding auditions at Jammin’ on August 3rd, followed by
the preliminaries and finals at MuskegoFest in August.

Heritage is participating in Jammin’ because it is another way to give us visibility in Muskego and surrounding communities which, in turn, hopefully will attract more families to our church. Jim Chesner and Ginni Kohler have been attending planning meetings for “The Group at Bethel”.

Heritage will have a space set-up with three or so tables, a banner, and several craft activities, maybe face painting, and karaoke for the younger children. We are looking for creative suggestions for the activities. And we will be contacting families to volunteer for two-hour shifts at each
of the three events. We are hoping the Heritage Brass and or choir will be able to participate on either June 1st or July 6th.
