 Alex York, son of Matthew and Kimberlee York, Muskego, appeared in Lawrence University's recent (March 1-4) production of Henry Purcell's baroque opera "The Fairy Queen."
York portrayed Oberon, the Fairy King. York is a 2010 graduate of Muskego High School.
Lawrence's production of the opera, loosely based on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," featured a new adaptation that set the action in a 1973 hippie commune near Athens, Ga.
