Car Show Rolls Back As Part of Festival Weekend

Classic cars have been a part of the last weekend in August for 21 years, and the tradition continues this year with about 150 cars on display.

Long associated with the Muskego Community Festival weekend, the Muskego Corvette Club is back on Saturday, August 25 with its 21st annual all-models car show.

Filling the parking lot of Sindic Motorcars and Richlonn's Tire & Service Center, classic cars from all eras, makes and models will be on display rain or shine. Registrants will be judged in 13 different classes, and the proceeds will go to help out the Muskego Food Pantry and the Muskego Senior Taxi.

Dick Hanson, one of the show's organizers says that the number of cars showing is always dependent on the weather and the economy, but generally have averaged around 150. In other words, bring a camera because there will be plenty of photo ops.

Spectators can also stay cool (temps are expected to reach near 90 under sunny skies) and well fed by enjoying cold beverages, grilled food and snacks. A 50/50 raffle and silent auction will also help raise money for the food pantry and senior taxi. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., rain or shine.
