City Water and Sewer Rates Hold Steady for Another Year
Quarterly bills will look much the same as they did the past 2 years for sewer rates, and as they did last year for water rates
With only slight variations to the total city budget, tax rate and tax levy made as the Common Council approved the package Tuesday night, taxpayers will also appreciate another year of steady rates on their sewer and water bills.
The rates for sewer usage in 2013 remains as follows:

Single Family Home - $167.66 per quarter/$670.64 per year
Duplex 3 BR unit - $167.66 per quarter
Duplex 2 BR unit - 125.75 per quarter
Duplex 1 BR unit - $83.83 per quarter
Industrial and commercial users

$6.81 per 1,000 gallons plus a connection charge of $69.10 per quarter; minimum charge of $670.64 per year per building
Water Utility rates remain at:
$24.72 5/8" and 3/4" meter - $8.34 hydrant rental
$37.08 1" meter - $21.01 hydrant rental
$52.53 1 1/4" meter - $30.90 hydrant rental
$66.13 1 1/2" meter - $41.72 hydrant rental
$97.03 2" meter - $67.98 hydrant rental
$161.92 3" meter - $126.69 hydrant rental
$256.47 4" meter - $210.12 hydrant rental
