Crime Corner: Drunk Driving Arrests Top the List Again

Older drivers and underage bar patrons cited this week in the Muskego Police Department crime blotter.

Friday, March 23 –

  • After someone saw her behaving erratically in Walgreen’s, a 62 year old Muskego woman was stopped in the area of Janesville Rd. and Westwood Dr. and charged with her second drunk driving offense. The stop occurred at 5:00pm.
  • A 61 year old Muskego man was arrested for drunk driving after a traffic stop on Martin Dr. near Shagbark Ln.

Sunday, March 25 –

  • A 48 year old Milwaukee man was arrested and charged with trespassing in an abandoned home on Valley Dr.
  • A 23 year old man was cited for violating his driver’s license restrictions after the police department received a complaint that he was operating a motorcycle in a reckless manner near Muskego Dr. and Island Dr.

Tuesday, March 27 – A resident in the S7000 block of Catalina Dr. was advised of the burning ordinance after the police department received a complaint. Police are reminding residents that the current fire ordinance states that smoke from a fire cannot be bothersome to anyone; you may not burn garbage or construction material; your fire must be at least 30 feet from any ditch or water way; winds at Mitchell Field must be less than 15 MPH.


Wednesday, March 28 –

  • A 59 year old Trevor, WI man was arrested for drunk driving near Racine Ave. and Prospect Dr.
  • A window on a house in the S6700 block of Sherwood Circle was damaged with a BB or pellet.
  • A ring was taken from a residence in the W16600 block of Jacob Ct.


Thursday, March 29 –

  • A unit at Personal Storage on Loomis Dr. was burglarized.
  • Two Muskego women, one 19 and the other 20 years of age, were cited with underage drinking at the Brickhouse Bar and Grill.

Friday, March 30 – A resident in the W15100 block of Cornell Cir. reported someone attempted to steal gas from his vehicle overnight. Police are advising residents that with the price of gasoline as high as it is, people who park their vehicles outside may want to invest in a locking gas cap.
