Crime Corner: Muskego Driveways Still A Popular Crime Scene
Among the incidents from the past several weeks, criminals find Muskego cars and garages irresistable.

They say that people generally experience crime close to home; numerous incidents on the 's neighborhood watch report in December and January prove many of them happen at home.
Monday, Dec. 19 – Several vehicles parked at a residence in the W12700 block of Larkspur Rd. were vandalized sometime before 11:00pm.
Saturday, Dec. 24 – A resident in the W17400 block of Woods Rd. reported the tires on his vehicle were slashed. A suspect was identified and the investigation is continuing.

Tuesday, Dec. 27 –
- Theft from an unlocked vehicle in the W13200 block of Windsor Rd. was reported
- Theft from a vehicle in the W18600 block of Jean Dr. The complainant believes the vehicle was locked, however, there was no signs of forced entry.
Thursday, Dec. 29 – At approximately 1:15am, a homeowner in the S7000 block of Parkland Dr. reported a car stolen from his garage. The overhead garage door was open, and the keys were left in the car. The car was recovered, undamaged, on Cortez Circle in Franklin around 10:30am. Note: police officers will knock on residents' doors late at night to let them know their garage doors are open, and this appears to be why.

Sunday, Jan. 1 – A vehicle parked in the S7500 block of Freedom Dr. was broken into, and stereo equipment was stolen. It also appeared that someone attempted to gain entry to the residence but was unsuccessful.

Friday, Dec. 16 – Around 11:00pm, three subjects in a dark blue Chevy S-10, with a hard bed cover, attempted to steal the Aud-Mar sign located on the corner of Woods Rd. and Ladwig Dr. The truck was last seen eastbound on Woods Rd. It was further described as having no hubcaps and a body patch of a different color on the driver’s door or rear bed. The sign was damaged during the attempted theft.
Saturday, Dec. 17 – A 16 year old Muskego girl was cited for Hit & Run after striking a fire hydrant near the intersection of Glen Cove Ct. and Raven Dr.
Sunday, Dec. 18 – Two Muskego men, one 17 and one 18 years old, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Manchester Park.
Thursday, Dec. 22 – Two noise complaints in two hours led to the Brickhouse Bar & Grill being cited for unnecessary noise.
Friday, Dec. 24 - A 31 year old Muskego man was taken into protective custody after overdosing on heroin. He was revived by members of the Tess Corners Rescue Squad, and faces bail jumping charges in connection with the incident.
Tuesday, Dec. 27 –
- An 18 year old Muskego man was charged with delivery of marijuana at Jetz Gas Station following the arrest of two subjects for possession of marijuana by the New Berlin Police Department
- A 21 year old Muskego woman was charged with possession of stolen property after a routine traffic stop on Racine Ave at Prospect Dr. found a stolen New Berlin street sign in her car.
Monday, Jan. 2 – Salentine Buick reported the theft of an airbag from a car on their lot. The theft appears to be related to several others in the metro Milwaukee area.
Wednesday, Jan. 11 – A 42 year old Muskego woman was arrested for drug-related impaired driving after a one-car accident on Muskego Dam Rd. at Kelsey Dr.
