Crime Corner: Muskego Police Nab Drunk and Drugged Drivers
Multiple offenders caught again, and a fast-acting garbage man averts disaster

Thursday, Dec. 8 – Scrap metal was stolen from a location in the W14100 block of Tess Corners Dr. The incident remains under investigation.
Tuesday, Dec. 12 – Two 16 year old Muskego girls were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store. While investigating that incident, officers discovered that they had also shoplifted at WalMart.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 –
- A 19 year old Muskego man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and bail jumping, after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle stopped in traffic near Hillendale Dr. and Janesville Rd.
- A quick thinking garbage truck driver was able to save his truck after his load of garbage caught on fire. The driver was able to drive to a safe cul du sac near Green St. and Parkland Dr. and dump the load, where Tess Corners Fire personnel responded and put the fire out. No one was hurt and the truck was not damaged.
Thursday, Dec. 15 - A 61 year old Milwaukee man was arrested for his 3rd drunk driving offense after becoming lost and winding up at Muskego High School. People at the school noticed him looking through their car windows, and called police after he left. Officers caught up to him on Racine Ave. at Kelsey Dr., where he went thru the roundabout the wrong way.

Friday, Dec. 16 – A 59 year old Muskego man was arrested for his 3rd drunk driving offense after an off duty officer reported seeing the man’s car on the sidewalk in front of Kwik Trip.
