Crime Corner: Muskego Store Parking Lots Are the Scene for Police Calls
Many incidents reported over the past week are in area parking lots, including hit and run and possible drug activity.

Friday, October 21 – A shed in the S8300 block of Woods Rd. caught fire. Tess Corners Fire personnel put out the fire. There were no injuries.
Saturday, October 22 –
Between 2:30 and 3pm, a red Chevy van parked at Piggly-Wiggly was struck by another vehicle. The operator then fled the scene. A suspect vehicle has been identified as a white, Ford F250 pickup with dual rear tires and a construction light on the roof.

A 32 year old Waukesha woman was arrested for shoplifting at Piggly Wiggly.

- A trolling motor was reported stolen from a boat being stored at the M.W. Marine facility on College Ave.
- A residence in the S6600 block of Gold Dr. was burglarized. A 33 year old Cudahy man and a 21 year old Greenfield man were arrested for the burglary, and charges are pending.
- A 35 year old Waterford woman sustained minor injuries when the SUV she was driving left Hwy 36 near Champions Dr. and rolled. She was arrested and charged with her 2nd drunk driving offense.
Monday, October 24 – Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the parking lot at Pick N Save. It was reported that a male subject was slapping an unconscious female while they sat in a vehicle. Squads arrived and both subjects denied having an altercation. Medical treatment was refused. It is believed drugs were involved, however none were located.
Tuesday, October 25 - Two 14 year old Muskego boys were arrested and charged with shoplifting at Piggly Wiggly.
Wednesday, October 26 - A vehicle was struck by a hit and run vehicle while parked in the parking lot at Kohl’s Department store. A plate number for the striking vehicle was obtained and officers continue to investigate.
Friday, October 28 – A homeowner in the W19700 Block of Black Walnut Ct. reported the theft from a vehicle at the residence.
