Crime Corner: Out-Of-Towners, Meet Muskego Police

Suspects arrested over the past few weeks came from cities near and far.

The list of incidents since the last report stacked up a bit, so we're sorting through them, and noticing a few trends. Here's the first in a series, this one featuring 'neighbors' not behaving so well in our fair city.

Sunday, Dec. 18 – two 911 transfer calls led to the arrest of two different subjects for drunk driving.  A 23 year old Illinois woman was arrested after putting her car in the ditch on Kelsey Dr. at Keiser Ln. at approximately 1:00am, while a 23 year old Waterford man was arrested around 2:15am after being stopped on Kelsey Dr. near Calvin Ct.

Monday, Dec. 19 –

  • A 22 year old Milwaukee woman was arrested for employee theft at Wal-Mart.
  • A 911 transfer call reporting a car in the ditch on Crowbar Rd. at Henneberry Dr. led to the arrest of a 29 year old Pewaukee man for drunk driving.

Wednesday, Dec. 21 – Two 19 year old Waterford men were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.

Friday, Dec. 23 – A 17 year old Big Bend man was arrested for burglarizing Rozman’s True Value.  The man is suspected in a string of business burglaries in the area.

Tuesday, Dec. 27 – A 911 transfer call led to the arrest of a 38 year old Waterford woman for drunk driving on Kelsey Dr. at Crowbar Rd.

Wednesday, Dec. 28 –

  • Several unlocked vehicles in the area of Brennan Dr. had items stolen from them.  Two Racine men, ages 20 and 21 were arrested and charged with theft and trespassing. 
  • Two New Berlin women, 17 and 18 years of age, were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.  

Sunday, Jan. 1 –

  • 2012 started on the run when an officer on patrol around 12:30am found an underage drinking party behind a business in the W12500 block of Loomis Ct.  Ten underage subjects, ranging in age from 16 to 19, and residing in Franklin, Caledonia, Madison and South Milwaukee, were charged with underage drinking.
  • A traffic stop on College Ave at Hillendale Dr. resulted in a 19 year old Franklin man who was a passenger in the vehicle being cited for underage drinking.
  • New Year’s Eve lasted a little too long for a 69 year old Racine man when he was arrested for drunk driving around 11:00am on College Ave at Moorland Rd. after police received a 911 transfer call reporting his erratic driving.

Sunday, Jan. 8 – A 44 year old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunk driving after a clerk at Jetz Gas Station noticed his impairment.

Tuesday, Jan. 10 – A 27 year old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.
