Crime Corner: Stepped Up St. Pat's Patrols Net Drunk Drivers
Muskego Police report an uptick in activity along with the increase in temperatures, and credit the St. Patrick's Day increased enforcement for catching more drunk drivers.

Friday, March 9 - Wal-Mart reported that around midnight, 3 individuals entered the store. A male white subject in a light-weight Nike jacket took several game controllers and left in a dark sedan. The other two subjects left in a dark colored Dodge Ram Pick-up.
Saturday, March 10 – A 19 year old Muskego woman was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.

Sunday, March 11 –
- Several mailboxes were damaged in the W17400 block of Forest Dr.
- A 33 year old Muskego woman was arrested for drunk driving and eluding an officer on Lion’s Park Dr., after she attempted to flee from an officer trying to stop her for a traffic violation.
- A 25 year old man from Omaha, Nebraska was arrested for drunk driving near Janesville Rd. and Bay Lane.
- A 22 year old West Allis woman was arrested for drunk driving on Racine Ave near Deback Dr.
- A 56 year old man in the S6700 block of Agate Dr. was arrested for disorderly conduct after shouting obscenities in his yard. The man claimed he was shouting at his dog. The neighbor children, who heard the obscenities, believed they were directed at them.
Monday, March 12 – A homeowner in the W16400 block of Woods Rd. reported a theft.

Tuesday, March 13 –
- A homeowner in the W19300 block of Sunset Dr. reported the theft of money from the residence. Suspects have been identified.
- Two Muskego girls, one 13 and the other 12, were arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.
- Two drivers were stopped and advised regarding drag racing in the Muskego Industrial Park. This led to an 18 year old Waterford man being arrested for absolute sobriety.
Wednesday, March 14 –
- Unlocked vehicles in the S9800 block of North Cape Rd, as well as on Chic Evans Ct., Champions Dr., and Claude Harmon Cir., in the Champions Village subdivision, were entered overnight, and items stolen. One of the vehicles was parked in a garage that had the door left open. Areas in Wind Lake, off of Muskego Dam Rd., were also targeted, with a white male wearing a hood and driving a dark minivan being identified as a suspect. Note: ALWAYS lock your car!
- A 37 year old Greenfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Mama Mia’s Restaurant, when he caused a scene after being fired.
Thursday, March 15 – A 32 year old Muskego man overdosed on heroin at his residence. Fortunately, a rescue squad was called in time, and he survived. He is facing drug possession charges.
Friday, March 16 – A 32 year old Franksville man was arrested for drunk driving after sitting in the parking lot at McDonald’s after employees there became suspicious. He had been parked in the lot for two hours.
