Crime Report: It Apparently was Hot Enough for You...

Incidents in this week's crime blotter indicate folks are getting crabby and not very neighborly from the heat.

Friday, June 29 –

  • An officer observed a vehicle towing a boat stopped in the parking lot of St. Paul’s church. The driver reported that while he was traveling on College Ave. near Tess Corners Dr., a towable inner tube blew out of his boat. He pulled over and his children ran back to retrieve it. Before they could get to it, a male white subject in a dark blue pickup truck stopped, threw the tube into the truck, and left the scene, southbound on Tess Corners Dr.
  • A 17 year old Muskego man was stopped and arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer observed him using drugs at McDonald’s in Muskego.

Saturday, June 30 –

  • A tenant in an apartment building in the S7000 block of Cornell Cir. reported a theft from a storage locker.
  • Urinating on the side of the road where an officer could see him, led to a 20 year old Muskego man being cited for underage drinking and his two 19 year old friends receiving alcohol referrals.
  • A bike reported stolen from a garage in the W16900 block of Woods Rd. on June 27 was recovered at Bluhm Park.
  • A van was stolen in the W13200 block of Winsor Rd.
  • Lawn ornaments in the S10400 block of Elizabeth Ct. were damaged.
  • A traffic stop on College Ave. at Hillendale Dr. led to the arrest of a 17 year old Muskego man for underage drinking, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, July 1 –

  • A resident in the W14900 block of Koso Dr. reported unknown subject(s) “ding-dong ditching” his residence.
  • A hit and run accident was reported in the S7100 block of Still Meadow Ct.
  • The windshield of a car parked in the S8300 block of Racine Ave. was damaged.
  • Numerous vehicles were cited for parking on the grass at Park Arthur.

Tuesday, July 3 – A hit and run accident was reported at Muskego County Park.

Wednesday, July 4 –

  • A 50 year old Muskego man was arrested for drunk driving on Janesville Rd at Princeton Dr.
  • A family dispute on Kipling Ct. led to a tactical response from the police department. The incident was resolved peacefully with no injuries.
  • A citizen brought a laptop computer which fell off a car in to the police department. The laptop was recovered in the area of Durham Dr. and Schultz Lane, around 5:00pm.

Thursday, July 5 –

  • A 53 year old Franklin man was arrested for operating a boat while intoxicated on Little Muskego Lake after suffering a medical condition.
  • A resident’s medication was taken from a residence on Regency Ct. sometime in the last week.
