Delish! Tests the Waters
Working out a few bugs before a grand opening on March 15, the gourmet burger and sandwich restaurant serves up darned tasty fare
Delish! New American Grill owners Tracy and Jim wanted to make sure everything was perfect before their public opening on March 15, so a handful of invites went out to have patrons come in, sample the fare and offer suggestions on Friday.
Overall the verdict was positive, and notably the beef was lean and juicy, a result of ground sirloin, chuck and brisket making for a better burger than most. In addition, 'tates' were a nice alternative to fries, and there was also the option of a deep fried dill pickle, which was yummy.
You can build your own burger starting at $5.95, but there are plenty of themed options available including "the Hangover," which includes a fried egg, or "the Wisconsin," which features melted cheddar, bacon and haystack onion rings atop the burger.

A turkey burger alternative is also on the menu and was given a thumbs up, and for those really concerned about their waistline, salads and veggie alternatives are on the menu, too.Â
Once they're ready for prime time, Delish! will be open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
