Come celebrate International Migratory Bird Day and Muskegoβs recognition as a Bird City Wisconsin at the communityβs largest conservation site! May is peak
migration time in this area and provides an outstanding opportunity to see several dozen species of birds in one day! International Migratory Bird Day brings awareness to approximately 350 species that travel from their wintering grounds in South and Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the southern U.S. to more northerly reaches of North America. Bird observation hikes will be available for both experienced birders and beginners. Coffee, juice, milk, and donuts available at 8 am. Bird observation hikes start at 8:30 am. Wear footwear to hike trails in possible wet conditions. Please bring binoculars, camera, and a bird field guide if you have them.
