The Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) will test the National Emergency Alert System Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 1:00 PM Central Standard Time. This is the first ever national test of the system. The test will be on television, radio, cable, and satellite systems through out the United States and will last about 30 seconds.
