Owen Gromme: The 115th Birthday Exhibition

Celebrating the “Dean of American Wildlife Artists,” this exclusive exhibit features over 30 original oil paintings held by the Gromme family, several that have never been publicly displayed. Objects include Gromme's African expedition rifles, paint palette and smock, personal passport, original field notes and sketches, and family photographs. Michael Mentzer, co-author of The World of Owen Gromme, provides exhibit text.

Visitors of all ages will enjoy our "Nature Discovery Zone" with hands-on interactives including creating wildlife art and investigating feathers, tracks, and bird songs. Look inside a real owl pellet to see what it ate for dinner.
