Gerald Boisits to Resign from Park Board
The attorney for Little Muskego lake property owner Michael Dilworth says he did not want to create a conflict of interest should the lake park development come to the board to handle.

An announcement at the end of the Muskego Parks and Recreation Board meeting Monday night took many of the members by surprise, as fellow member and attorney Gerald Boisits announced he would resign on Wednesday.
Boisits has represented Michael Dilworth, owner of lake property that the city has offered to purchase for a new park.
Previous accusations made by people opposed to the lake property purchase have highlighted Boisits' relationship to the property owner, who is also a developer, and his position on the park board. Although he had earlier stated he felt no conflict of interest serving in both roles, he told the park board he did not want to continue given the accusations.

"Depending on what is decided tomorrow at the Common Council meeting, I feel my position here is tenuous," Boisits said. "After thinking this through and having heard the attacks, I feel I would put this board under scrutiny if I were to stay on."
The to put a hold on the close of the sale in order to form an ad hoc committee. This group would likely work with the park board to gather costs on development.

Boisits felt that "there may be some impropriety if I remain on the board," but told them "it has been a pleasure serving and it has been nice to be involved."
