Get Off the Street! Winter Parking Rules Begin Today

If your driveway's been crowded, you will have to find another place to park your car than the street. Otherwise, you'll wake up to an unpleasant surprise.

Although there hasn't been any measurable snow yet, and this weekend's temps are more like October than December, Saturday does mark the beginning of winter parking restrictions.

Muskego winter parking rules mean no vehicles may be parked on the street between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Lt. Dave Constantineau explained that officers will be giving written warnings, weather permitting, for the first week of December.

After that, be prepared for a ticket if you are parking on the street. Limited parking permission may be granted by the police department on a case by case basis, but it's best to call ahead to be sure. The police department's number 262-679-4130.
