Girls' Volleyball Celebrates Successes

Coach Karen Anderson tips her hat to the 2012 Warriors

 

The Muskego High School Warriors Girls’ Volleyball team had their awards banquet Wednesday night, and Coach Karen Anderson shared some of the team's successes with Muskego Patch.

The team was 7-0 in conference, winning their first Classic 8 Conference championship our first year in the new conference, according to Anderson. In the past four years, the team is 43 – 3 in conference matches, and posted an impressive record of 146 – 45 overall.

The team had aspirations as they headed to the state tournament but lost to Merrill. However, many impressive stats have lead to statewide kudos for the team.

Mary O’Connor:  1st Team All-Conference, 3rd Team All-State
Michelle Fugarino:   1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-State, Most Valuable Player
Morgan Kath:   1st Team All-Conference, Honorable Mention All-State
Jordan Wachowiak:   2nd Team All-Conference
Kayla Bluemel:   Honorable Mention All-Conference
Martha Blanchard: Spirit Award
Kelly Spoerk: Most Improved Player
Sammy Schneiker: Warrior Heart Award
Lauren Kudronowicz: Practice Player of the Year
