Great Kids Are Great News - Share Yours on Patch

Invariably, when we post a story on a great achievement by an area student, someone contacts us and asks why we didn't talk about another classmate that did something equally worthy of coverage.

The short answer is that we report on what we hear from you, and hopefully we're able to get an interview to do a story.

However, here's a better answer: anyone who has an email and can remember a password can post their own announcement (with a great photo, too) to crow about their kid, team, school - the list is endless. Often we Patch editors 'mine' the announcements pages to pull out information and post them as articles so they appear more prominently on the home page so no one misses the information.

Even better, you don't need the editor to get started. Sign into the Muskego Patch website if you aren't already, click on the 'News' tab, and then 'Announcements.' There's a button to the right labeled 'create an announcement' and you're nearly done. Fill in the boxes with the required information, and provide as much information as you care to in the main body of the announcement.

Upload photos directly under that section, add tags if you wish and save. Done!
