When the ball drops, where will you be? Here's a list of ideas if you're not sure...

New Year's Eve always seems to sneak up on people, so here's a quick guide of local establishments that will be offering up something to do for families as well as for adults. Other venues do have packages, but required reservations more than a week ago and weren't included here.

For Everyone

Mitchell Park Domes - New Year's Family Celebration 6 to 10 p.m. Enjoy roaming children's entertainers, crafts, balloons, live music, and much more. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission at the door: $12 for adults, $5 for children (ages 5 and under are free). Advance admission online or in the Gift Shop: $10.00 for adults. Click here for advance reservations.

Radio Disney and 99.1 WMYX Family Fun New Year's Eve at Milwaukee’s Winter Fest, Frontier Airlines Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. Event features live entertainment, Radio Disney games and activities, access to all Winter Fest activities including skating, New Year’s countdown and big screen ball drop at 8:30 p.m. and again at midnight. Tickets are $10 online from Ticket Master or $15 at the door. Children under three-years-old are free.

Radio Disney portion of the evening will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. 99.1 WMYX portion of the evening will be from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.

Milwaukee County Zoo - Open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Adult: $11.75; Junior (age 3 to 12): $8.75; Child (2 and under): FREE; Senior Citizen (age 60 and over): $10.25

Pettit National Ice Center - Open 12 to 9 p.m. $7 adults, $5 kids 12 & under and seniors; $3 skate rental

Locally, For Those of Us 21 and Older

- offering menu and drink specials, no cover charge as of 12/19

- open regular hours, drink specials all night, no cover as of 12/19

- due to their annual dart tournament on New Year's Day, they will be closed the evening of the 31st.

- Upstairs: "Eroc" the lead singer of the Black Frogs will be the entertainment. No Cover change. Champagne toast at midnight.

- 8 to close, 2 for 1 drinks; $1 tacos; no cover
