Heading North? Ramp Closures May Wrinkle Your Plans

Highway 60 on ramps and off ramps will be closed beginning Monday and will remain closed for about two months.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region is announcing that the southbound on-ramp and the northbound off-ramp at Highway 60 will close beginning Monday, June 11. The southbound off-ramp and northbound on-ramp remain unaffected at this time. These ramps will reopen in approximately 60 days.   The posted detour routes are as follows:

  • Northbound traffic: exit US 45 at WIS 145 and continue east to County P north.
  • Southbound traffic: use County P south to WIS 145 to US 45 southbound on-ramp.

In the meantime, Highway 60 remains closed to through-traffic from Tillie Lake Road to County C. A temporary road has been constructed for local traffic doing business within the closed section.   Message boards will be in place to remind the motoring public of the posted detour route.   As always, please drive carefully and stay alert in the construction zone.
