Heritage Holds Easter Egg Hunt Amid Snow Drifts

The snow might be melting, but not fast enough as youngsters hunt for Easter treasures with their winter boots on.

Heritage Presbyterian Church held its annual Easter Egg Hunt, and although the sun was welcome warmth, the snow has proved too stubborn to melt.Β

However toddlers to pre-teens didn't seem to mind and with baskets and bags in hand, went about the church grounds searching for hundreds of eggs hidden behind trees, in snowbanks and everywhere else. The littlest tykes stayed indoors, finding an equally plentiful stash of the brightly colored eggs strewn about the upstairs and downstairs.

Afterward lunch was served with dessert likely the sweets found in the kids' baskets.Β
