Hit and Run On I-43 Ends With Arrest in Muskego
Driver struck a vehicle then left freeway on Racine Avenue, where it hit another car stopped at a red light.

Muskego Police finished the pursuit of a minivan, which had been involved in a hit and run accident on I-43 on Monday, Jan. 16. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department reported the indicident, and it was also believed the striking vehicle got off the freeway at Racine Ave. and was traveling south into Muskego.
Muskego officers found the vehicle southbound on Racine Ave., but were unable to stop it before it rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a red light at Janesville Rd.
The 31 year old Muskego man driving the silver van was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs including heroin and prescription medication, as well as possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after suspension and inattentive driving.

No injuries to the passengers in the other vehicle were reported.
