Bomb Threat at Tudor Oaks Accompanied by Laughter

It wasn't funny at the time, but bomb threats called in to Tudor Oaks on Feb. 14 were deemed as a hoax when the caller was heard laughing.

Muskego Police initially responded to the senior living facility about 1:30 p.m. for a reported 911 misdial. While there, the officer was informed by the facility's executive director, Charles Lamson, that odd and then threatening phone calls were coming in.

According to reports, three separate calls came in, beginning at 1:10, with a male caller initially asking for a Joe or George Busch. The operator told police the third call featured a man attempting to disguise his voice with "a Russian accent," telling her, "This is the Russian mafia; this is very important. I want to prevent loss of human life. A bomb is going to take off."

As the operator attempted to ask questions, sounds of people laughing in the background could be heard. A search of the facility yielded nothing suspicious. Police were able to determine that the number, 876-286-6338, originated in Jamaica, and had been associated with other similar complaints.
