New Business: Ribbon Cutting Celebrates the Joy of Juice

Muskego business owner's love of healthier alternatives turns into unique cafe, officially welcomed on Friday by business community

Amy Hoeppner said she's always been a little crazy about juicing, and her passion for the hobby turned into a business right next to Piggly Wiggly in Muskego as Juice Garden Cafe.

Although the restaurant has been open several months already, the official ribbon cutting wasn't until Friday. Dozens of fellow business owners turned out to sample the various flavors of juice, many of them becoming fans of blends labeled "carrot cake," "appleberry" and others that taste good without your taste buds realizing they're enjoying spinach, kale or other greens.

Hoeppner told the group the response so far to the juice bar and sandwich menu has been "overwhelming," and was grateful for the support.
