Jury Selection to Begin in Schulte Trial

Woman who allegedly sent pornographic pictures of a 4-year-old to a man she knew from an internet fetish site will face a jury, with selection on Friday and trial to begin on Tuesday

Muskego woman Annmarie Schulte will be going to trial in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday facing two counts of first degree sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Jury selection is slated to begin in the morning, and the trial is set to start Tuesday.

According to the, Schulte met a man named "David" on the website and took pictures of the young girl, who is a family member, naked and sent them to him. Some of the pictures also involved the suspect in inappropriate poses with the girl.

The woman’s husband discovered emails between his wife and "David" where the man would talk about objectifying the girl for sexual pleasure and binding them up.

She also ordered a dog collar from a website and was planning to put it and a leash on the girl because "David" asked her to do so. He also asked her for more pictures of other girls, but wanted to focus on the first victim before moving on to others.

Police have confirmed that it appears that no other children were involved. Schulte faces up to 200 years in prison if convicted.
