Muskego Students Mark 9/11 Anniversary

For the 11th year, Lake Denoon Middle School held a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the flagpole outside the school.

The students who gathered this year were either not born or too young to remember the events of that day 12 years ago.

But speakers, including a student whose father is serving in Afghanistan, pressed upon them the magnitude of the terrorist attacks, the significance of the flag and the unity that followed in the 9/11 aftermath. 

The flag raised Wednesday features the names of all those killed in the terrorist attacks.
