It's that dreaded word: taxes. And now it's coming at you with an extra dose of dread: deadline. That's right, the deadline for taxpayers to file their income taxes is Tuesday.
Luckily, the Interal Revenue Service has a number of online tools taxpayers can use to make filing easier. For those taxpayers that can't get it done on time, there's always the option of filing for an extension.

The assessment roll has been open for inspection since April 9 at the City Hall office of the assessor from 8 a.m. -4 p.m. as well as at Muskego Public Library, during normal library hours. However, after April 20 you will need to stop by city hall only if you wish to review your assessment. Board of Review will meet on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. to hear objections to the 2012 property assessments. Property owners are required to notify the City Clerk by May 14, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. that they want to appear before the Board. Please contact the Clerk’s office at 262-679-4100.
