Let's Dance, Muskego!
For a small town, we've got plenty of dance outlets and what better week to focus on those resources than National Dance Week?
Muskego it seems features a wealth of options in dance and performance, with no less than four dance studios within its borders, so why not celebrate that along with National Dance Week, April 21 - 28.
Maxines is one of the longest established studios, and is distinguished by its big red barn, which also offers the ability to incorporate aerial fabric. Suspended from a high beam, a wide 'ribbon' of fabric is used by dancers to wind themselves into artistic displays that combine gymnastics with dance.
They are celebrating National Dance Week with some additional classes during that week where current students can bring a friend to class and Saturday – April 28th – 8:00 – 4:00 PM we will be having a Rummage Sale at the studio along with Aerial Fabric Demos/Dance Demos/Door Prizes and raffles.Â

Proceeds will go for additional expenses for students performing down at Disney World in Florida this June.
Maxine's is complemented in Muskego by Starz, Majk and Anita's Dance. At any given time, and for any given age group and style of dance, there's likely a class available to join.

In addition, the Muskego Parks and Recreation Department offers dance classes for children to adults. Many offerings are available in the Summer Program Guide, which will be in mailboxes this week.
