Meeting Preview: Muskego Road Projects Reviewed, Vehicles For Sale
'Big Four' road work projects will be discussed, as well as the review and acceptance of bids made on DPW vehicles.

The Muskego Public Works Committee will meet Monday night at 6 p.m., with many of the familiar road projects again on the docket for discussion. Janesville Road, Durham Drive, Tess Corners Drive and Pioneer Drive all have ongoing projects, and the meeting is a good source to find out just what's going on and when it's going on.
Most notably, utilities construction has begun in earnest along Janesville Road, focusing on the area near Pick n Save east to Bay Lane Drive, meaning that the paved trail has been removed in the process. The goal has been to finish before the snow flies, but with a late start to the project, it could be possible that we'll be seeing the equipment far into the winter.
In addition, the committee will discuss current bids for vehicles for sale through the department. Generally, vehicles from various city departments can be offered to the public for sealed bids, and for some can mean a good deal.
