Meeting Preview: Parks Board Features a Taste of Spring, Summer

Agenda looks ahead to the warmer, greener events of Muskego

The Muskego Parks and Recreation Board will meet Monday at 5:45 p.m. and the items on the agenda have a distinct taste of the warmer months to come.

Included are the following items:

  • The 2012 agreements between the city and the Water Bugs Ski Team, which uses Idle Isle Park for its practices and weekly shows
  • An update/preview on the 2012 Community Festival, which will be held Aug 23-26              
  • The Lion's Club of Muskego will again host 'Lake Fest' at Idle Isle Park, June 15 and 16, and will be on hand to present its request for permits to use the park for its annual summer event
  • The Lion's will also request approval of Veteran’s Memorial Park for their 48th annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 7.
  • An update on the parks and rec program guide for summer will also be discussed.
