The Muskego Plan Commission will meet Tuesday night at at 6pm and an approval for a building at the Boxhorn Gun Club is among the items on a relatively short agenda. Recently, the Common Council voted to enter into a purchase process (resolution of necessity), for the launch, which the owner Art Dumke was said to be excited about as he had plans to take proceeds of the sale to reinvest in improvements to the gun club. The building "is to provide a comfortable waiting/viewing area, an extremely safe shooting layout, and additional storage for the Boxhorn Gun Club," according to the proposal. The Club provides National Sport Clay Association (NSCA) 5-stand sporting events, and the proposed building will aid in these events. The proposed building would be built behind the trap boxes to provide a great viewing angle of the trap shooting events.
