Mourning Drug-Related Death, Friends Caught With Heroin, Police Say
The Muskego Police Department arrested a Muskego woman and a Wind Lake man on their way to pay respects to the family of a person who died from a heroin overdose, according to a criminal complaint.

Two people who were on their way to comfort the family of an area person who died from a heroin overdose found themselves in legal trouble after they were found with heroin and drug paraphernalia when stopped by police on the way to the home, according to a criminal complaint.
Carly L. Czajkowski, 22, of Muskego, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia. She faces up to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine if convicted. The driver, Steven R. Huerta, 31, of Wind Lake, was charged with possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Huerta faces up to one year, seven months in prison and $10,500 in fines if convicted.
A Muskego police officer pulled over Huerta at 9:25 p.m. May 30, 2012, for an extremely loud exhaust, according to the complaint. Huerta told the officer they were visiting the family of Czajkowski’s former boyfriend, who had just died from a heroin overdose.
