Murder & Mayhem Reign Again at Muskego Public Library
Seventh annual event puts authors and their fans together to discuss the genre they love: mystery.

The is getting set for another event, this one promising "Murder and Mayhem," a mystery lover's must-see, now in its seventh year.
Penny Halle, labeled the chief 'perp and event chair' said attendance is limited to 250 and they are currently at about 230 registered attendees. The popular event draws fans in to meet with about 20 mystery authors, and this year two of them come from the birthplace of Sherlock Holmes: London.
Anyone looking to take up the last seats available in the event should stop into the library to sign up. Friday night Nov. 11 is a 'meet and greet,' where fans can meet informally with authors and socialize with each other from 6 to 8pm. The library will be closed to the public Friday evening, so the evening is a great opportunity to get to know the authors in a more intimate setting.

In addition, Wisconsin wines and local microbrews will be served along with a light buffet. Friday's event is $25.
Halle calls mystery fans "a lively and enthusiastic bunch," so the Friday night event is a great warm-up to Saturday's activities.

Saturday Nov. 12 features panel discussion and author interviews from 9am to 5pm, raffles and opportunities for book signing. Books may also be purchased and lunch is part of the $30 registration for the day. Morning and afternoon sessions can also be reserved if your schedule doesn't allow for the entire day at $10 each.
The Friends of Muskego Public Library will benefit from the proceeds of the event, which is also sponsored by Mystery One Bookstore and Crime Spree Magazine.
