Muskego Aldermen Have Made Their Decision, So Support Is Necessary

Resident writes in to express support for Jan. 24 vote, and hopes the resolution for the lake park development stays in tact.

As a longtime resident of Muskego I strongly support the Lake Park project and hope the Common Council stays with the decision they made to go ahead with it.  They were elected with the understanding they have the power to vote on projects like this, so now that petitions were submitted, their houses picketed, and even the ridiculous threat of recall, we hear (the aldermen) may change their vote.

Were the facts used to secure the signatures on the petitions, or were questionable facts, figures, and scare tactics used to secure the signatures for the petitions?  We have a Muskego resident saying the Aldermen who voted for the Park are “Taking Care” of their drinking buddies or that the Mayor is being paid by the developer, which is so far from the truth it is ridiculous.  The person who said this should prove it or do the right thing and apologize to the Aldermen and Mayor!

We need a beautiful Park like this for our families to go to and enjoy.  I am proud to live in Muskego and this would ensure own downtown area would be a positive talking point.
