Muskego Artist on Display at Wisconsin State Fair

State Fair officials announced the winners the 2013 Young People’s Art Exhibit, which showcases extraordinary art created by Wisconsin’s talented youth in grades 6 - 12, and a Muskego student is among them.

Kaitlyn Pinter of Muskego High School took 2nd place for her serigraph print, which employs the use of silk screening.

Pinter's submission was one of 467 pieces of artwork that were submitted for the Young People's Art Exhibit at the fair. More than 85 awards and $3,300 in prize money was awarded, according to a release from Wisconsin State Fair. 

Winning artwork will be on display in the lobby of the Wisconsin Exposition Center during the 2013 Wisconsin State Fair, Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 11.
