Muskego Chamber Celebrates Best in Business
The annual Gala was held on Thursday, with winners recognized for efforts to serve and better the community.
The Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism honored the best in the business community Thursday night as well as a student at Muskego High School as their 2013 scholarship recipient.
The 2013 Gala was themed "Paths to Progress" and celebrated Muskego's future and development, while also recognizing one of its oldest businesses.

- $1000 Scholarship recipient: Sam Frasher, a senior at Muskego High School pursuing a degree in medicine
- Business of the Year: San Laurio Coffee House
- Ambassador of the Year: Mary Culver, Waukesha State Bank
- Mayor's Beautification Award: 4Front Engineering Solutions, Wayne Straus, owner; Mayor Kathy Chiaverotti said the award was based on 4Front's recent investment in freshening up the exterior with a coat of paint and erection of a structure to house storage, eliminating the outdoor storage on the property. She said the location has "maintained a high level of attention to the exterior and landscaping and have presented a clean and organized exterior enhancing the Muskego Business Park and overall community." 4Front Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures safety, productivity and environmental control products for warehousing, manufacturing, retail and distribution center customers and produces a line of loading dock systems .
- Executive Directors Award (recognizes volunteer efforts of Chamber members):
Chuck Azzolina, A-1 Quality Cleaning Services; Azzolina has chaired the festival parade for the last 9 years and also serves on the Gala committee, has served as an Ambassador to the Chamber, chaired the festival committee in 2008
Krisann Durnford, Muskego Apostolic Tabernacle; Durnford has served on the Country Christmas Committee since its inception, chairing the event for the last 5 years. She also sits on the Gala committee, serves on the student partnership committee

- Lifelong Honorary Members - The Family of EJ Salentine Buick; Sue Salentine Sorensen, daughter of EJ, and her daughter Carey Sorensen were there to accept the award, which recognized the business for 90 years of service to the community.
- Board President Gerald Boisits was also recognized for his years of service on the Chamber Board
