Muskego Commenters Creating An Identity Crisis

What's in a name? A lot of hassle, especially if there's more than one person with the same name.

Perhaps it's just because there's been more and more of you jumping into the conversation - and believe me, I couldn't be happier about it - but there appears to be 'twins' in Muskego, and I wanted to point out who's who.

Suzi Link and Suzi are NOT the same person. I recently deleted a comment posted by the latter Suzi that appeared to attempt to confuse people into thinking it was Ms. Link instead. That's crossing a line.

While I understand the right to use your own names (and in fact I find people who have the chops to post as themselves and not hide behind a handle quite admirable), please make sure you're 'different enough' to prevent confusion. What ends up happening is that your 'alter ego' gets a lot of flak for a post they never made.

Similar situation for the two Greg Burmeisters in Muskego. One posts comments on Patch (thanks for your engagement, Greg #1), and the other, who is a deputy commissioner for Big Muskego Lake, has colleagues and friends asking him questions about comments he never made. Please note the latter Greg, who is our Big Muskego guy, is NOT the same as the commenter Greg Burmeister.

I'm not entirely sure how to remedy the second set of 'twins,' as each has a right to his name. We may have to recommend including photos just to erase all doubt, or adding ages in your comment 'handles'.  In any case, don't assume there's only one person named Suzi, or Tom or Jack. It's a part of growing pains, and while it's a pain, it's good to know we're growing.
