Muskego Elementary Aims To Help Many Organizations
Food drive and fundraiser are hoped to help out food pantry, PTO; in the meantime, their principal is also hoping to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics.

(Editor's note: Quin, our student journalist at Muskego Elementary has provided Patch with an update on their efforts to help address the problem of hunger. We'd love to hear from all of our schools to stay up on what great things they are up to!)
Food Drive Update:
So far we have counted around 700 items. On Tuesday, Jan. 24 the scouts will be going to the food pantry to deliver the food items Muskego Elementary donated. Thank you to all the Muskego Elementary families that participated!

Muskego Elementary is also holding a fundraiser with Quaker Steak and Lube, just up the road in New Berlin. Come eat at Quaker Steak and Lube on Monday, Jan. 30 and support Muskego Elementary PTO! 5% of in store food sales from 11am until 11pm will be donated to the M.E. PTO.
Come hungry and leave full and happy knowing that you made a difference for the kids! Thank you on behalf of Quaker Steak and Lube and Muskego Elementary PTO!
Mr. Carlson is Taking the Plunge - Again!
Mr. Carlson, Muskego Elementary P.E. teacher, will be representing Muskego Elementary for the second year in a row, doing the Polar Plunge. Come watch Sunday, February 12 at Muskego County Park. Plunging begins at 12:00 PM!
(The Polar Plunge is a fundraiser for Wisconsin Special Olympics, and it's our guess that the school would be more than happy to talk with you if you are interested in sponsoring Mr. Carlson's madness in taking the plunge.)
